In short: we collect only what we need to run the site and answer your questions. We do not show advertising, sell or rent your information, or track you across other websites.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect, and why

• When you visit the site. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and when) to run the site and protect it from misuse. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser also contacts Google when a page opens.
• When you sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address and Google account identifier, and nothing else from your Google account. We never see your Google password.
• Invited readers. Your name and access code. Access codes are stored only in a scrambled (salted and hashed) form.
• When you ask a question. We keep the question, the answer, when it was asked and which prospectus it was about. We use this to answer you, to show you your earlier questions, to count them against your free allowance, to check and improve the quality of answers, and to prevent misuse.
• Issuers using the private questionnaire. The answers and documents an issuer provides are confidential. Only the people the issuer names and the operator can see them, and they are covered by a separate agreement with the issuer.
• Cookies. One cookie keeps you signed in. It is needed for the site to work and is removed when you sign out or the session ends. We use no other cookies.

3. Your consent

Signing in is your choice. By signing in you agree to our use of your information as described here. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to [contact email to be confirmed]; we will then close your account and delete your information as described in section 6.

4. Who processes information for us

• Render hosts the site and its data ([region to be confirmed]).
• Anthropic provides the AI model (Claude) that writes answers to questions. To answer, the text of your question and the relevant passages of the prospectus are sent to Anthropic. Under Anthropic's commercial terms for its API, this content is not used to train its models by default. Your name and email are not sent.
• Google provides sign-in, and the fonts described above.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We disclose information only if the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and question history while your account is in use and for up to 12 months after you last use it, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security. Issuer questionnaire data is kept as agreed with the issuer.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a summary of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to. Write to [contact email to be confirmed]. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Security

Connections to the site are encrypted, access codes are stored only in scrambled form, and access to stored information is limited to the operator. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

8. Children

The site is intended for adults. Please do not sign in if you are under 18.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell signed-in users by email or on the site.
